Solar farm consents updated

Tom Woof, Director of Planning at Prospus Group says; “Electrical and solar technology is improving all the time and the approved plans for solar farms often don’t include the latest components. This nearly always means that the kit used is smaller than that approved, so the changes can be approved as a non-material amendment. However, it is important to ensure that up-to-date plans are publicly available and are accurate compared to what is on the ground. We have an ongoing programme to ensure that the planning register is fully up to date.”
