
Derek Mitchell
Group Director and Head of Prospus Energy
Derek heads up our commercial development and project delivery teams. Prior to joining Prospus Group, he played a key role in delivering and commissioning over £6m of solar PV projects across the UK.
Derek combines an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School with over 20 years of commercial and management experience. He is a retired Director of the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association having helped establish it as one of the largest hydrogen and fuel cell trade associations in Europe and was also a founding Director of the Hydrogen Office Ltd., where he secured over £5m to finance this innovative project and successfully project managed its development.
More recently Derek was the lead project manager in successfully negotiating the transfer of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme and over £6m of assets from the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to the MCS Charitable Foundation.

Alistair Fell
Group Director and Head of Prospus Property
Alistair specialises in business growth and asset acquisition. Prior to joining Prospus Group he led a site acquisition team as Director of a development firm and was responsible for forming strategic relationships with site finders and land agencies across the UK for multi-million-pound investment projects. In this role Alistair secured an extensive pipeline of sites with a build cost in excess of £50m. Alistair’s role included oversight of all commercial negotiations, legal agreements and planning issues associated with these projects.
Alistair has also worked as Head of Renewable Energy at a large land agency firm, advising farm and estate-based clients on all aspects of renewable energy developments. Managing a team of consultants, he oversaw the implementation of renewable technologies from site identification to feasibility, permitting and construction. He has also carried out technical and financial due diligence for a large number of lenders on many multi-million-pound projects.

Tom Woof
Group Director and Head of Prospus Consulting
Tom heads up our consulting and planning team. Previously Head of Planning at H&H Land and Property, he has a variety of specialisms including local plan allocations, and residential, rural, commercial and neighbourhood planning. He also has 12 years’ experience running his own planning consultancy, Development Planning Solutions (DPS), during which time he advised on development schemes all over the country.
As the first section 106 officer in the London Borough of Brent, Tom secured the section 106 agreement for the new Wembley Stadium, which opened in 2007.
Tom’s work has received national recognition with him receiving the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his work in 2014.

Phil Graham
Group Director and Head of Revolution Architecture
A skilled and versatile designer, Phil consistently produces imaginative and exciting conceptual designs that often lead to award winning sustainable buildings.
Phil approaches each design brief with an open mind and is willing to challenge pre-conceptions in the pursuit of a successful outcome. He has experience in many project sectors, including the motor racing industry, hi-tech manufacturing, education and research, sport and leisure, local authorities, housing associations, private clients and property developers.
Over the years Phil has completed new build, refurbishment, interior design, landscape and historic conservation projects in locations all over the world.

Elizabeth Fisher CMktr
Marketing Director and Head of Prospus Marketing
Elizabeth is a Chartered Marketer and leads Prospus Marketing, a marketing, design, and communications consultancy based in Carlisle, Cumbria. With over 20 years’ experience across sectors including charity, care, education, and professional services, she brings a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and emotional intelligence to every project.
Elizabeth specialises in developing clear, practical marketing strategies through close collaboration with senior leaders. She is known for creating structure in complex environments, building strong relationships, and delivering measurable results that support long‑term organisational success.
With a degree in Print Journalism, a background in publishing, and extensive experience leading busy marketing teams, Elizabeth combines strategic insight and editorial judgement with hands‑on delivery. Her curiosity about people and how they communicate underpins her ability to craft high‑performing campaigns and provide an expert, human‑centred marketing service.

Ben Newton
Project Manager
Ben started his professional career at Prospus Group whilst studying for an MSc in Spatial Planning at Oxford Brookes. Since graduating, he has taken on the running of Greenfinch, where he combines leading the business with hands-on consultancy work for clients.
Day-to-day, Ben advises on planning strategy, manages projects and programmes, and acts as the main point of contact for the people he works with, making sure schemes are delivered efficiently and to time. His particular focus is on rural diversification, helping landowners and rural businesses unlock the potential of their land and buildings.
When he isn’t delivering for clients or studying, Ben can usually be found on the water as part of the Leander Club rowing team.
