Prospus secure first battery storage facility in UK

Copeland Borough Council’s planning panel approved an innovate electricity storage facility in Cleator last week.

Part of the Britain’s Energy Coast, this facility will help create a smart grid to reduce the need for generating capacity and transmission networks.

Low Carbon Storage and Investment Company are pioneering this technology throughout the UK and Prospus Group is supporting its delivery, helping to reduce the UK’s overall energy need.
