Prospus Energy hits 100MW milestone!

It has been a very busy year for the Prospus Energy team who have now consented over 100MW of clean energy generation and continued their 100% success rate winning streak.

The milestone comes as our specialist team gained consent for a 2.9MW solar scheme and associated battery storage facility. The site offered several key planning challenges, given its location on an old landfill facility, which is adjacent to both housing and active breeding sites for great crested newts.

Working for both private companies and public bodies, the team has delivered a diverse range of renewable and low carbon energy wins utilising ground mount and carport mounted solar photovoltaics, large scale battery storage systems, gas peaking, large scale water source and borehole heat pumps, and community energy.

Our team can offer advice on a wide range of planning and development matters, including planning applications, environmental impact assessments, ecological surveys and reports, project design, landscape and visual impact, heritage matters, noise and air quality assessments, traffic management, design, and road safety audits.

Derek Mitchell, Director of our Energy team, said:

We are delighted to achieve this significant milestone in supporting our clients to deliver low carbon and largely subsidy-free energy, enabling them to reduce costs, and to diversify and grow their revenue streams.

Tom Woof, Director of Planning at Prospus adds:

The planning and investment process for these schemes has been assisted considerably by our architects’ ability to provide realistic imagery for the various schemes.

With experience in project development, a wide knowledge base, attention to detail, and the ability to recognise opportunities, we act as a trusted partner for our clients. As a company, we are dedicated to creating a better world for future generations to live in and believe that decarbonising our energy infrastructure is a crucial task and is at the forefront of our purpose as a company.

Keep an eye on our social channels as we will be sharing some case studies of various energy projects that we’ve been involved in over the coming weeks.
