Prospus Group continues its growth with the appointment of Kate Bellwood as Senior Heritage and Planning Associate. Kate, a planning and heritage expert with a Masters in planning, will be supporting the property consultancy team on a variety of projects. Kate specialises in both rural and urban planning, she has worked for 13 years in development management with local authorities, and in 2013 set up her own business. Her extensive background enables her to effectively pre-empt any potential stumbling blocks with planning applications and mitigate against them in a straightforward but effective manner.
Kate also specialises in Heritage works and obtained her Post-Graduate Diploma with distinction in Building Conservation in 2015. Building on years of experience in dealing with listed buildings and heritage assets she is qualified to do heritage appraisals, statements of significance and level 1, 2 and 3 building records. She has worked all over England providing such support, but has a specific interest in rural heritage works and barns. Kate is an affiliate member of the IHBC and is full Member of the RTPI.
Kate’s breadth of experience runs from small extensions to major housing schemes, commercial and domestic works. She can assist with applications and appeals, and provides whatever level of support is required.
